The event, organized by Creamer & Lloyd displayed artwork from artist that have cotributed in Submit2gravitys' previous exhibitions. The event showcased work Dae Hun Kwon, Louise Greenfield and Chris Eckersley and was held at Jasmine Studios in Shepherds Bush.
Creamer and Lloyd help people in organizations solve challenges in creative ways by working with artists from many disciplines. The event gave a better understanding and importance of the sensorial world for the development of brands, with particular emphasis on fragrance. Its aim was to help build an internal culture where fragrance is fully recognised, understood and supported both through internal measures and collaboration with Unilever's partners.
Chris Eckersley - 'Note C' installation consisted of 16 sound modules each playing the 'Note C' from a variety of musical instruments. The sound was activated by movement passing over the sensory receptor placed above each module.
Louise Greenfield series of 3 large wall sculptures ranging in size from 128cm x 96cm to 159cm x 130cm, were crafted from hundreds of feathers to create a whirlwind effect full of depth and textures.
'Lost in the Forest' by artist Dae Hun Kwon is a cleverly created light installation that constructed from thousands' of carefully placed pieces of metal. Spot lights directed beneath at each side of installation rotate, picking up the shadows of the tiny metal pieces which create an illusion of a face that appears and disappears within the trees. |
